Artist Bio

The Goodbrew is comprised of a bunch of all-round good blokes and great mates from varying backgrounds including Jazz, Rock, Funk, Reggae and much more. Formed in Auckland in 2009, they played around with original tunes and covers alike. Their hugely experienced musical talent, ability to slip into almost any genre and their passion for live entertainment allows them to satisfy just about any musical taste. These qualities make them the ideal band for weddings, corporate events and functions. To throw a little something different in the mix and keep things interesting Jimmy from the band loves to throw in some freestyle Harmonica into their sets as well! Jimmy can also be booked as a solo artist to warm up for those more relaxed part of the event before the band kicks off!

‘The Goodbrew provided outstanding music at our wedding. The guests absolutely loved it and the dance floor was packed right from the start. They played to a range of our guests tastes; we had young and old all mixed on the dance floor having a really good time. We had so many positive comments about them after the wedding. They’re a complete professional outfit, we didn’t worry about a thing. All we did was give them a couple of songs we liked and they did everything else including working in with the different providers and our MC throughout the day. They’re incredibly accommodating and the acoustic music whilst walking down the aisle was just magical!!’

Jimmy was great and worked in with us around set up and timing. The music was amazing and we have had a lot of positive feedback from our guests around the range in terms of songs and the periods covered during then night and after He played additional songs requested that was not on the play list.
