Black and Gold

Black and Gold is a group of musicians that like to bring 110% to some great covers, ranging from 1960s-present day. The main four members consist of vocals / piano, bass and drums and guitar. Saxophone and trombone can be added if required. All members have experience working in many bands around New Zealand and overseas. Their skills range from performance, teaching, recording, management and study. Black and Gold are interested in creating happy dance music! After many years of playing in bands where it was about ‘making a quick buck’ these entertainers have learnt the importance of professionalism and enjoying what they do. They want the audience to be pulled back in time to the classic sing-along tunes that aren’t played every-other Friday night (unless you request them). If you’re enquiring for a wedding we have so many songs to choose from and can build a list that suits your music tastes. For additional costs we can learn a first dance song and send you a recording to practise along to! Genres we cover include: Pop, Rock, Funk, R’nB, Drum & Bass, Blues, Kiwi Classics and many more! Ideal for: Weddings, Parties, Corporate functions Our PA system provided is top of the line, and we can also provide stage lighting, dance lights, and a wireless microphone for speeches.
