Elly Rydge

Elly Rydge has been performing in New Zealand since 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts, majoring in vocals and works during the day as a music teacher. She has trained to perform a wide range of genres including Jazz, RnB, Rock and Blues from the 1930’s to today. With influences ranging from Etta James through to Alicia Keys and combining 21 years of experience playing piano, Elly causes many to stop in their tracks and connect with well recognised tunes. Experienced at performing in stadiums, talent shows, restaurants, and weddings she is performance savvy and able to rise to all occasions, adapting to the size and sound suitable for your event. Elly is available solo or as a duo – She also has a 3 or 4 piece band Black And Gold. Elly goes the extra mile with her performances, asking for requests and selects set-lists that cater to the guests she is entertaining. She uses high quality performance gear and is always well presented and great at managing her time before and after events.
