Bird Machine

Bird Machine comprises three experienced musicians and multi-instrumentalists. Each are skilled across many genres, including rock, pop, R’n’B, funk, soul, jazz, and blues from any decade. They take the stress out of coordinating music for an event by supplying and setting up their own gear, with a PA system sufficiently powerful for most venues. A tight and dynamic unit, Bird Machine are able to deliver the live music experience that best suits your event.

Luke (guitar, vocals), has played guitar most of his life, being inspired from an early age by guitar heroes of the 60s and 70s like Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, and David Gilmore. Jenna (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboard) was born into a musical family, singing and performing since she was four-years-old and songwriting since she was eight. She’s taken her incredible voice around New Zealand on several tours, and learnt much about singer-songwriter craft from fellow Kiwi Brooke Fraser. Coleman (drums) started playing in bands at a young age around Japan, enjoying commercial success. He takes his cues from punk-rock hero Travis Barker and the original rock drummer, Ringo Starr.

Luke & Jenna are also available as an acoustic duo for smaller and more intimate occasions.
