Bringing smooth grooves and feel-good energy to every performance, Funk Shui is a talented three-piece funk, soul and pop covers band based in sunny Hawke’s Bay. Known for their tight musicianship and rich harmonies, the band delivers everything from soulful ballads to upbeat dance floor favourites, making them a great fit for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations.

The trio are seasoned performers who have played at events ranging from intimate weddings to large stadium shows. Between them, they’ve performed alongside well-known New Zealand artists and groups including Aaradhna, Hollie Smith, Louis Baker and Rodger Fox.

Funk Shui are also familiar faces at many of Hawke’s Bay’s top venues, regularly performing at places like Craggy Range, Black Barn Vineyards and Mission Estate Winery.

The lineup features Micah Robinson (drums & lead vocals), Caleb Robinson (bass & backing vocals) and Nat Meszaros (keys & lead vocals). Caleb and Nat both hold Bachelor of Music degrees with first-class honours from the New Zealand School of Music, specialising in jazz bass and classical piano.
