Turtle Funk formed in New Zealand in 2015, The band is a funky Four-Piece with a tight rhythm section, sexy guitar lines, powerful/contagious vocals and a jazzy sax/trumpet thrown in for good measure. Je Marco is based between Queenstown & Tauranga but also regularly gigs across both Islands! There’s a truly international feel about the Band with members from all over the world. This mix of cultures and background is what makes it sounds so unique. They love to play oldie covers, although their own addicting sound can be described as “fresh 60s-80’s groove”. Turtle Funk’s set list will take you through a sensational music journey with upbeat 60’s-80’s rhythm blended with modern kink” Impress your Corporate Team, Wedding Guests or your Festival Crew with the highly successful and recommended Turtle Funk.
