Artist Bio

Paul Saker-Norrish is a Wellington-based singer/songwriter/guitarist, with many years experience performing in bars, concert venues, at weddings and corporate events. Paul spent his twenties in Paris, singing in various rock-bands and also performing solo around the local bistro scene. After a brief recent stint in the UK, Paul is now back in Aotearoa plying his trade for events large and small.When not performing at social gatherings, Paul shares his music in prisons and rehabilitation facilities through the Nau Mai Tau Mai Community Trust.

While also a passionate songwriter, Paul has a large repertoire of covers in a wide variety of genres. Paul prides himself on his ability to make a song his own, to internalise what makes a song special to him and to attempt to convey that in his interpretation of it. Paul will bring a unique flavour to any event, and the intimacy of a performance that doesn’t rely on many effects, just the voice, guitar and the song to tell a story.
