Nicholas France is an in-demand tenor saxophonist and keyboard player with experience performing, recording, and teaching all kinds of music. He has been immersed in the Christchurch music industry since 2014 and is particularly known for performing with the covers band Mirrors for the last 6 years. Nick also plays saxophone alongside DJs, adding his extensive improvisational experience to crowd-favourite tunes. With additional experience in funk, classical, electronic dance, and hip hop music, Nick particularly enjoys playing jazz and rock/pop covers and has appeared alongside several outfits throughout Christchurch. He draws inspiration from saxophonists such as Bob Reynolds, Chris Potter, and Kamasi Washington. Alongside music, Nick has recently graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and is completing his Bachelor of Commerce. Nick currently works as a graduate at a local law firm.
