Third Space is a premium live covers band bringing high-energy entertainment to corporate events, weddings, parties, festivals and celebrations across New Zealand.

Based in Tauranga, we travel nationwide to perform, delivering a polished live show packed with faithful, energetic versions of your favourite hits from the ’70s to today. With powerhouse vocals, expert musicians and a setlist designed to get people singing and dancing, we know how to make live music a highlight of your event.

Our scalable lineup means we can tailor the band to suit your event. Our five-piece is the perfect choice for most events, while our larger seven-piece lineup adds even more vocal and instrumental power. We can also expand the lineup further with live brass and strings for a truly impressive full-band sound.

For more relaxed occasions, we offer acoustic duo sets – ideal for background music during dinner, cocktails, arrivals or other parts of your event where you want great live music without a full dance-band setup.

We can provide a complete production package including professional sound, dance-floor lighting and an experienced sound engineer, or work alongside your existing AV team. Our digital setup and controlled stage volume allow us to perform comfortably in everything from intimate venues to large stages, while our performers love getting out into the crowd and making the show interactive.

From sophisticated acoustic music over dinner to a full-volume dance floor, Third Space will work with you to create the perfect live music experience for your event.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for Friday night. Third Space were awesome and we’ve had some really great feedback. The acoustic set worked perfectly for the room, and the acoustic drums definitely gave us the professional feel we were aiming for. Then the full band set later in the evening was great, and having your lead out in the room really lifted the atmosphere. Super stoked with how it all went.

We booked Third Space for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made for our special day. We wanted to have a pumping dance floor and our guests absolutely loved Third Space, even chanting for more songs at the end of their set. They interacted with our guests and learnt our first dance song, making it extra unique. You guys brought the energy we wanted to our wedding, thank you so much!

Awesome band. They played for our wedding night celebration at the Rosebrooke hall. Great song selection to keep everyone dancing and the sound quality was exceptional, filling the hall perfectly. Couldn’t recommend enough if you want a great mix of songs to suit all tastes and to sing and dance the night away.

Better Band made our booking experience completely seamless and the band they recommend to us (Third Space) were a perfect match for our event! They kept the crowd dancing all night, playing a mix of hits from the past and today. Would highly recommend getting in touch with Jan and the team at Better Band if you’re needing entertainment for any event. Thanks team!!

Hey Guys. Just back from our honeymoon and finally responding to messages. You guys were awesome!! Everyone has been raving about the music, a really great set list with something for everyone. All ages were able to dance to something and there was amazing energy the whole way through. We absolutely loved it and can’t think of any way you could improve! I’d actually say probably put your price up a bit! The band was a total highlight and we loved it
