EK ducked into her dad’s garage during a family BBQ, just trying to find another box of beers… but instead, she found gold: a stack of old mixtapes and a dusty Walkman buried in a forgotten box. Classic Dad. Cue ADHD time warp – Next thing she knows, hours have passed, and she’s deep in the vibe of 90s pop, rock, funk, and all the feel-good bangers you forgot you loved.

One idea led to another (as they do), and boom! My Dads Mixtape was born. EK roped in her dad and a few of his muso mates, and now they’re taking that mixtape magic from the garage to the stage. It’s not just a covers band. It’s a full-blown nostalgia trip with killer hooks, big feels, and a setlist packed with songs you didn’t realise you knew every word to.
