Dunedin Quartet

Founded in 1993 as The Cantabile Quartet, The Dunedin Quartet still features two original members, the South Island based Quartet is made up of regular players in the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra, the world’s southernmost professional orchestra. Subject to availability, we can offer either a classic string quartet (two violins, viola and cello), or an agile variation with our versatile oboist-flautist-saxophonist. Either way, with a playlist that ranges from Bach, Handel and Vivaldi, through Mozart and Elgar, to classic jazz of the 1920s and 1930s, and favourite film soundtracks, all the way up to contemporary pop, the Dunedin Quartet can match the mood of any private or corporate event.
