David Shanhun played for our idyllic lakeside wedding at “On the Point” in Rotorua. Although somewhat tucked away in a corner, his amazing music could be heard everywhere on the grounds, welcoming guests to the venue, singing the bride down the aisle and helping to create a truly special atmosphere.
He was a great help with the song choices for the ceremony. To see & hear everybody’s reaction to the music throughout the ceremony was priceless.
I was really pleased that our little crowd got an opportunity to say farewell with the deafening burst of applause that he deserved.

He was so easy to work with, nothing was a problem for David, he even came around to our house to help our daughter choose a song she could sing with him on the wedding day. On the actual day he was so professional in a relaxed friendly manner and we had so many comments on how amazing he was not just for his fantastic vocals and the songs he performed but also his personality and his ability to chat to anyone who walked by. I heard David performing at an Air New Zealand corporate function for the Rugby World Cup and he was fantastic. That night I had to ask him if he played at weddings and emailed him the next day to check his availability. I was so excited when he said he could play at our wedding. David has a fantastic voice and an amazing personality to go with it. So many people at our wedding commented on how lovely he was and what a fantastic job he did. David is very reliable turning up when and where he was needed and more than happy to come along to rehearsals. David sang me up and down the aisle and entertained our guests as we went off for our photos. David can pretty much play and sing anything and can cater to the audience on the day if need be.
